What Even is it Like to be a Gang Member? with Lawrence Goshon and Jose Palacios-Casillas
Join host Donna Truong as she has an insightful conversation with ex-gang member and now a Gang Rescue and Support Program (GRASP) Outreach Worker Lawrence Goshon and GRASP case manager Jose Palacios-Casillas on what it is like to be a gang member and what they go through.
Established in 1991 in Denver, Colorado, GRASP works with at-risk youths, youths that are currently in gangs, serves as a youth advocate for these individuals, and supports and helps families of gang victims. The highly respected organization is primarily run by ex-gang members who have turned their lives around and strive to help kids better their futures through one-on-one mentoring.
